Many people try to save money by buying glasses and contact lenses online. But there’s much more to purchasing eyewear than look or immediacy. Online purchases don’t ensure the proper fitting or expert care and advice you get in store at Lunavision. We can guide you better with a full range of options to consider that ensure you’ll love your eyewear long after you leave our store.

We do our best to have them ready for you as soon as we possibly can. In general, glasses and prescription lenses have a average wait time of 2 weeks.

Contact lenses have an estimated wait time of 10 days. Have a rush order? Let us know and we’ll do our best to get it to you fast.

A home-delivery option for contact lenses is currently in development. Ask for details.

By law, we are required to perform a customer contact lens fitting before providing lenses. Once the fitting has been done, contact lenses may be ordered online with an up-to-date prescription.

Fittings are $50 and are done on-site by appointment only. Bookings are taken by phone (905-650-5862) or by email (welland@luna-vision.ca)

Some common reasons for a rejected contact lens order are:

• You have never ordered contacts with Lunavision before. We are required to perform a contact lens fitting on every one of our patients before issuing contact lenses. Once you have received a contact lens fitting from one of our licensed opticians, you will be eligible to order contact lenses through our online portal.

• Expired prescription. The average prescription expires after 2 years. Once the expiration date is reached a new prescription will be necessary to order contact lenses.

Glasses 

Many of our Lunavision prescription lenses are customized and created just for you! Return policies are dependent on the type of product ordered. Please speak to an associate for further details.

Contact lenses 

Unopened contact lens boxes are eligible for return 30 days following purchase. After 30 days, contact lenses are ineligible for return. Any opened contact lens boxes are ineligible for return regardless of purchase date.

Yes, we do direct billing to most major insurers, as well as Ontario Works and Ontario Disability Workers Program.
